Prioritising Your Safety at EPIC

At EPIC, the well being and safety of our visitors and staff is our priority.

Spacious galleries

Our spacious galleries will help visitors to feel safe and be able to fully enjoy their visit. The EPIC story unfolds following a carefully designed one-way walking route which supports social distancing guidelines and ensures that our visitors are able to experience all of the exhibitions.

We strongly recommend all visitors to book online in advance to ensure entry at your preferred time and date.

Each of our 20 galleries measures approximately 85 sq meters, giving a total area size of 1699 sq m (or 18000 sq ft).

We would kindly ask all visitors to be considerate of others while visiting our museum.

You can preview EPIC from the comfort of your own home by taking our Virtual Tour here.

EPIC staff are available throughout the museum with a smile and warm welcome to help you with any concerns.

Ventilation and Filtration

EPIC Museum has an air handling (AHU) system in place that controls the flow of fresh filtered air to the museum and also extracts air from the museum giving us a constant air flow throughout the Vaults.

This unit is constantly monitored by our BMS (Building Management System) which controls the temperature to the museum keeping it at an optimum Level.

The filters on our AHU system are replaced on a quarterly basis in line with our planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule.

Along with our Maintenance plans with external contractors, NDH,  we are checking daily the operation of the AHU System to ensure all is working correctly.

Before you arrive, you should know:
